Athens, Georgia is more lush than I expected, with big ol’ Magnolia trees on every street. Spring is fully sprung here, and the South is showing off for us.
I make my way to what looks like a jackpot of a trail, only to find that it’s a 1/4 mile long (what kind of sadists make these trails?)
Nevertheless, I prefer to run known laps than unknown hills and dead ends and no sidewalks, so I do my 12 back-and-forths while pondering all kinds of nonsense and soaking in the beautiful weather.
A train that no longer trains
A barn that no longer barns
A factory that no longer factors
A tree that never treed in the first place
An upholstery that no longer upholsters
A car that may or may not car
A blue that BLUES
Here’s hoping you all have a gorgeous Sunday!
Yours in pastry,
Rachel
Grab a croissant at OWL while you're in Asheville!
ha ha I went to "Bluesfest" at Byron Bay, Australia over the easter weekend. A blues festival without much blues!
Not complaining, there were some great acts to see and the not so great ones reinforced how good the great ones were.
